Moka Pot (also known as the "Stove Top Espresso")

Coffee brewed this way is heavy with strong aroma.

Fill the base with cold fresh water. Fill the filter cup almost to the top with coffee and pack lightly. You should leave a small space at the top of the filter for the coffee to expand as it becomes soaked with water. Place the pot on an electric or gas burner over a medium flame until you hear the pot 揼urgle? which is when you should remove the pot from the heat source and serve.
